Male to Female (MtF) Top Surgery
Male patients transitioning to female breasts will start with a estrogen hormone treatment. Most clients elect to include implant surgery as an option to match final objectives.
Female to Male Breast Surgery (FtM) Top Surgery
Most patients with smaller breasts can have the entire surgery performed by having a small amount of skin removed. Known as a “peri-areolar mastopexy”, a mastectomy is performed around the outer edge of the skin and is closed around the areola.
Double Incision Top Surgery
Breast tissue is removed and liposuction will compliment a final contour of the chest. Double incision is an outpatient surgery using general anesthesia and only lasts a few hours.
Inverted-T / T-Anchor Top Surgery
Inverted-T is an outpatient surgery similar to Double Incision with techniques to retain more sensation in the areola.
Peri-Areolar Top Surgery
Peri-Areolar Top Surgery is an outpatient surgery removing a small amount of skin around the areola and performing liposuction to help with final contours.
Key Hole Top Surgery
An outpatient surgery only lasting approximately 2 hours, Key Hole Top Surgery is the removal of breast tissue through a small incision at the bottom of the areola. Techniques are used to maintain nerve sensation in the aerola and nipple.
“Until I met Dr. Aylward, I had not found a physician that I was willing to trust professionally. Dr. Aylward made me feel comfortable in my own body.
From the moment I met her, I could tell she was passionate and very down to earth, she wasn’t just another surgeon, and I was not just another patient. She offered not only emotional support, but made sure I knew what to expect.
Being a transgender individual, finding a doctor and staff that respect you is very hard, and there is no judgement at Dr. Aylward’s office. Choosing her was one of the best decisions that I could have made, and I am very happy with my results. I would highly recommend her and her staff to anyone and everyone.”
